Woodfords Family Services is seeking a dynamic individual to work with us as a Physical Therapist and positively impact the lives of children ages 2 to 5 with autism and developmental disabilities and their families!

About the Role of a Physical Therapist at our Westbrook & Pineland Campus Early Childhood Programs:

As a Woodfords' Physical Therapist:

  • You work directly with the students conducting physical therapy evaluations as necessary for initial placements and ongoing progress assessments
  • You are instrumental in developing the Plans of Carefor each individual student and provide written quarterly reports and discharge reports
  • You will also provide information, direction and guidance on physical therapy goals to the Westbrook Preschool Teaching Staff
  • You will provide ongoing training to staff to support the classroom carry-over of physical therapy goals
  • You will be a member of the Westbrook Early Childhood program working independently with a child and cooperatively with a team
  • Your schedule is Monday through Friday allowing you to maintain a work/life balance

Key Qualifications of a Physical Therapist:

  • Must have a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy with current, valid, Certificate of Clinical Competence or appropriate completion of clinical fellowship
  • Must successfully complete a background check including a criminal background check with satisfactory results as determined by Woodfords Family Services
  • Must possess good organization, communication and interpersonal relationship skills
